Tada!!! This is my award for my excellence in work.

Appreciated my superior for her nomination and of cos, after being shortlisted, I felt very honoured. The whole process has to go through a panel of higher management. Recognition. :) Hope the market turns well next year. I will taking up a new job scope. May the new jobscope be exciting....

1 wk of R & R

I love to travel as and when I like. I went overseas lately during my leave to a nearby country to shop and relax. stayed at a 5 star hotel and shop around. though did not have a nice travel companion but I do enjoy the time out of Singapore. The SPA at the hotel is one of the best spas I have been to. Great service and ambience!

My travel companion is my fellow colleague, needs a toliet break every 15 minutes, needs lift or stairs when going down the next level and worst, needs me to accompany her whenever she goes. She does not like the idea of taking taxi which she deems as a non public transport. Geez... Basically, my shopping spree is cool and bought a nice Zara dress there, compared to Singapore's price it is cheaper by at least 10%. My trip including accommodation is less than sgd 200.

My pleasant surprise I have had was, I was awarded the Royal Excellence Award by my company (nominated by my superior) as well as an appreciation award for one of the projects that I have participated in this year. This Royal Excellence Award is for employees that has displayed excellence is their work and of cos, appreciation by the company. Not a common award that most employees will receive as the nomination has to go through some shortlisting etc. Too bad I was not present to receive the award as I was on leave.

Continue to hibernate at home.... hee hee

Today, I was watching one of the taiwanese singing competition show. There is something which I felt it was true which I believe most of the people will feel the same as me.

In different phrases of life, there is bound to be a song meant for the special someone. He or she may not be by your side but memories come back when the song is played and heard by either both. A song which brings back memories and you are caught in the moment of time as if the time has stopped. You do not feel that time is passing nor the people around you. Seems like a movie being played in your mind... Familiar scenes that seemed so real as though it is happening. Somehow, at the back of your mind, you know that you are in reality.

Reality is not bad. Moving on with life, brings you to a higher level of experience in life. It may not be always bed of roses and smiles but still, they are the bits and pieces that make up your life.

I prefer to remember the nice things that has happened, still worth the thought.

Great!! my long awaited break....

YEAH... here comes my long leave of 2 wks. should have been oct.. oh well, requested by my boss to postphone. now i have no plans. only to rest at home for the time being. play mj is also one of my activities. hmm.. perhaps will be watching my hkg drama serials. how i wish bangkok is stable now and I will just fly over for a long hol. feels like going to Genting but noone can accompany me.. sob...

the weather there must be super cold. hehe.. resting at home may not be a bad idea after all. shall be it.
