monday blues..

today went to see doc after coughing for coming to three weeks, the doc prescribed me an antibiotocs; doxycycline. gosh. it is strong and makes me feel terrible nw.. causing stomach upset n nausea. forced down a bowl of mee to prevent it from worsening. :(

the rainy and cold morning feels so comfortable that one do not feel like waking up but to sleep all the way to the noon. indeed despite the fact i woke up earlier than usual, i still lie on my bed to enjoy the cooling weather. was at work today, everything is fine just that my col who is supposed to show me the ropes, wasnt that patient. kept using the phrase 'thought i taught you before?' yah tell me that again when u taught me verbally and showed me when u are doing so fast when i can barely see what you are doin? hmm.. that was 2 weeks ago? oh well, i would say that the ppl there are quite nice except for a few 'cold queens'.

my second week of work...

so far so good for work. lots of eating places. lunch khakis. good for shopping (de stress). cols are nice.

the only thing is, i do not have my own CPU and keyboard yet, only a moniter. still nothing to do yet. hence, i just help my col at the front counter. when im bored, just go out walk around. these days, i feel the air is pretty bad. many ppl are having coughs. mine since monday. almost cant go work as i have a very bad sore throat only to hear from the radio station that its due to the air that may cause sore throats. the irritating cough came as a 'combo'. terrible. its only my second week so i dragged myself all the way to work.

had very nice fish soup today at golden shoe complex. its 3 bucks and the whole bowl is full of fish meat and vege! these days when u go any place to eat fish soup, the meat is so little that is not filling at all. its unit #03.05. if u prefer fried fish, go to unit #03.11, its nice and cheap as well. anyway my dear frd, rina doesnt like going there. so sometimes i will just have lunch on my own.

have to be sherlyn's bridesmaid this sat and my face has a few pimples due to the face threading i did last fri. :( i will never do it again. it hurts and has after effects! hmmph. read and heard abt it. finally mustered my courage to do it and pimples in return.

my frds told me my case is considered mild. they have seen even worse. alright, a form of consolation.
will try to update pics i have taken with my phn. the bluetooth from my mac and phn dont seem to be able to communicate. time to ZzzzZ!!

surprise!!

today is my fourth day at work. didnt do anything as well. no desk, system, assignments. went for b'fast at 10am with my cols and shop till 1 plus and met up with jerin and continue to shop. wahhahha. now then i realised that raffles place is a good place to shop for clothes. not very expensive as well.

went for dinner with shi and frds as alvin and anges have some announcement to make. haha. they are going to be married!! keke. think they have been together for two years? alvin told us about how he proposed and their plans. very funny. due to age, lots of frds around me are getting married. lingling, sherlyn, alvin and agnes. the next one should be jerin and wenjing. hahaha. *jerin, don kill me for this, anyway like u said he has been given green light by your parents. ;)

yeh!! its the end of the wk!!! time for some long rest! :P

surfing around....

reached home at early evening. went for orientation today. met quite a no. of new colleagues in our bank. hate taking train and bus home! in short, i hate going work and home at the peak hour. i stood for the whole journey. it is fine if it is not very crowded. u will only have bad experiences in the morning in the train. how inconsiderate the commuters are. a woman hugged the pole as if it is her hubby. i cant even hold on when the train is slowing down! sorry dd. i know im very irritating in complaining this but i really hate taking trains!!! :( i try to adjust...

was browsing the net and happened to pass by this blog. this ger is quite young. has a bf who really pampers her. hand made chocolates on valentine's and is expressive. they are together for 4 months only! martin was saying honeymoon. haha. i do agree but some couples are not even that expressive like them.

there's this part, the ger illustrates hw comforting a gf feels after a long day of work, the bf is waiting for her to knock off. i do share the same view as her. there was once my dd waited for me for 3 HRS!! really very touched. think the guys these days would not have that kind of patience. there wasnt any place for him to shop around. though, i did ask him to go home but deep in my heart, i really hope to see him once i get out of my office. hehe.

tmr is my first day of work~!!

nw im in the midst of doing mask, donno what's wrong w my face. sudden itch at the cheeks and forehead nw became rashes. :(

another leisure activity at home

today dd n me were watching anime, Initial D via YouTube. now im hooked on it. finishing it soon. hehe. at least its an alternative to tv dramas, used to be glued to TV nw is my lappy. haha. goin to sleep soon... *yawnz*

going back to work

although my last job was not a well paid one, no doubt i have learnt alot on treasury products. thanks to my treasury manager. now i am moving on another bank with the same position but much better pay. this bank has a lot of staff benefits which cannot be found in most companies in Singapore.

looking back these months, i do enjoy the time for me to rest and relax. despite of not travelling last year, i guess this is a way to make up for that. due to dd's training, time spent together became lesser.. i do appreciate that even though it is awhile, dd will try to meet me and call me from overseas. can't help to feel the emptiness and loneliness at heart sometimes. i wonder does he know how do i feel? i believe so. he knows. i hope things will be better after his graduation.

headache!!

these nights i have been having headache... very bad that i cant even slp. i suspect its post menses headache, though never had it before (which pre menses is always the case) but it has been for a few nights.. :(

called my course coordinator this afternoon, found out that the results for my last module is going to be out end of march which is two months after we handed in. that is indeed long for them to mark. letter of certification will be given on december. the actual cert will only be given next year's march. how efficient they are... i have to wait for another year before i can receive my '14k' cert. waiting in progress....

went out with gisele, fion, joelle and her bf for dinner. had my fave curry katsu don at waruku restaurant then we had coffee. talked abt our current jobs and some of our batchmates. we guys missed those training days. how we struggle to pass those mod papers. in the end, we are out of the place. haha. amazing to hear that our best trainee has been promoted to ABM. cool.

at last dd's training is going to be over soon. so happy for him. at last he is finally on the job. :) looking back the months, he was studying for his exams and training, so tired that he can sleep very early. oh well, the hard work has certainly paid off. all the best for him. may his job be smooth sailing and fun.

i still cant sleep man... my headache!!!

my first goal achieved~!

since i was working for my relative at hotel's cafe, when i first saw the ladies card, i really liked the card. henceafter, set my goal to get my degree and the card by the age of 25. i have made it. great! haha. quite happy actually. hope everything will be smooth sailing. moving towards my second goal now and plans. YEH!

bad stomach...

great.. im right. luckily im not having diahhorea. very bad stomachache. went toliet a few times. must be the buffet. i didnt eat for lunch only had iced milo and bread.

mon i will be going over to hr to sign my appointment letter. hopefully i can get my desired pay... hehe. hence, i will be able to achieve my first goal before 25. haha. damn sian. my relatives r here. was thinking that i will have a quiet saturday. fion asked me to join them for ktv today. so happy but im kinda broke... :(

was chatting with one of my frds earlier on. i was asking her whether is she going to move on to another job or company. then i realised she is earning much lower then what i have been earning. makes me thinking.. whether i am expecting too much of myself that the pay is not up to my expectation or she is only one of the few. anyway, it is good to have expectation of myself. :)

i have to get my degree certification. im planning to take CFA. oh well, its a tough one. there are three levels to it. first level, the exams is held twice a year for the next two would be once a year. its worth taking and it is equivalent to MBA. entry requirements would be a degree or four years of working experience. still part of my plans. next goal, a car before 30. whether achievable still a goal to work towards to at least.

hotel buffet in town

i had dinner with shi and frds earlier on at one of the hotels in town. checked it was $28.80+++ when the bill came, i was shocked. it was a $40+++/pax post cny dinner buffet. the spread was an international spread plus some yu sheng. thats all. not that fantastic. it is not worth $46.80 at all. i did not know that the price wasn't checked as we arrived later.

i think we could have something even better than that. first of all, the oysters do not seemed fresh to me. the salmon tasted weird compared to what i have at japanese restaurants. it is not properly sliced. desserts worst. pathetic few cakes, puddings and 2 tubs of ice cream. thought there would be waffle something like that would be nice. im a dessert lover. im kinda disappointed with this hotel's dinner buffet and to think they charge such a high price almost fullerton hotel's. i have tried fullerton's, definitely worth the price. last but least, the fruits and ice cream taste sour!

anyway, it was a nice gathering afterall. to celebrate martin's and faizal's bd. oh well, think have to organise a more interesting gathering for all. martin was saying kinda boring that we just meet for dinner and that's it. i do agree with him. especially it is a friday night. was thinking of a sentosa or botanic garden picnic. something different maybe. got to sleep. tired... i wonder is it due to the fruits.. my stomach feels weird...

bumming days are over soon...

hi my dear frds, i have got a job! hehe. do enjoy these months of being a student, hsewife and couch potato. however, reserves are running low. just in time to top up. hope this job is not as scary as the last else another nightmare. it is really a small country. starts off with 'do you know' then .... haha.

a tip for you guys, i always believe in treating all your friends, colleagues and bosses well and with due respect. 'cause what goes around, comes around. it does happen. you will never know they may help you when you least expected. i miss my colleagues.. my ex boss. she is a really nice boss. concerned as ever even though i have transferred.

during this time, though i have kept myself busy with tv shows and finding my own programs but there are times i really miss my DD so much that i just look at the pics we took and back in my mind, i know he is busy. i appreciate him to call me whenever he can and let me know hw he is doin etc. as i said, i supported him to take this route and i will support him all the way. it may not be easy as said but i can say i will try my best. at least i get to see him when he is not working. the more we will treasure each other and cherish the time together. :) night....
