just chatted awhile with one of my nice boss i have met at my last bank. she is asking me to go over her branch.
nice... but will see how things go. will give that boss a chance. not nice to move here and there. does not look good on resume.

A New Year surprise @ work

The industry is so small that my ex boss is coming over to my branch. She is the part of the reason why I left. Now, she is going to be my boss again.. Gosh.. it is really a 'surprise' man. I hate it. why am i so unlucky? Anyway, I completed my tasks before I left my last bank.. I know it wouldn't be a problem working with her again. Just that she isn't that kind of boss that anyone would want to work for. Looking at the other side, at least I know her style more or less, I know how to work with her rather than the others.

May the almighty bless me for year 2008...

they looked like a pair of kissing kidneys. we had a fun nite with non stop laughters. i didnt eat alot as i guess i ate abit here and there during preparation of food. haha. Merry X'mas everyone!

Abusive Partner..

It is actually a busy but nice day at work today. However, something happened at the end of the day. My colleague and I were doing our stuff till we heard a loud shouting outside our branch. The next thing, we saw our fellow colleague fell down the floor and was knocked against our glass door. She was being pushed down by her bf.

We went out and saw her on the floor. Her bf was shouting at her and not even helping her to stand up. Gosh... I quickly helped her up into our office. She was in tears. We asked her whether she wants to report to the police. She told us it is fine. This is not the worst. (I was thinking.. oh my god.. what is the worst???) No matter what, I feel a man should not hit a woman. Sad to say, I have seen it myself. In the end, she went out and they went back together.

I feel sad for her as her family is not in SG and she really love him so much that she can put up with her abusive partner. I heard from my colleagues that there was a time that her bf suffocated her with a pillow that she almost died. What to do... Hope she will be fine.. May god bless her..

FLU BUG invasion!!!

It is coming to the last mth of the year. YES! naturally, the weather is rainy and cold for our country unlike other countries that are snowing.. my office cols are getting very bad flu these days. they get medical leave up to 2 days just for flu. for me, I have been sneezing non stop since last night. In the day, it is still fine, when it comes to night esp now, I have to stuff tissue into my nostrils to make sure my nose will not be like a 'running tap' or sneezing non stop.

I just cant bring myself to eat that terrible flu medicine, that 'famous' yellow pill which I can get KO(knocked out) within the next half an hr. I am now trying to watch some online cartoons (eg; Xiao xin) to make myself sleepy. Hopefully, the flu will go off soon. Went to bugis for X'mas shopping. Seems like it is fruitless. Not much to buy. I will be buying only a few gifts this year. Only for the privileged ones. haha.

My frds are organising a dinner before my birthday however it seems like it is heading no where. Sob. It always happens cause' my birthday is nearing the end of the year a week before X'mas' eve. Everyone seemed so busy. Oh well, see how it goes. Have taken a wk's leave for that week.

REVLON's Mascara is good!

The extreme lash makeover with 3D Extreme™ Mascara

This mascara is good and easy to remove. It is priced at promo price SGD 15.90. I heard from my col. it actually came with a free lipstick(which I was not given. its fine.) I used to be using its FABULASH® MASCARA (good as well). I have changed a few brands but REVLON is still the best. Most imptly, it is reasonably priced.

Gals, you should try it. My col has very short and hardly visible lashes but her lashes looks much better with the mascara. Anyway, it is only SGD 15.90. Try it and you will notice the difference. :)

A day out at Far East Plaza

It was a lazy Sunday however, I decided to acc my best frd, Shi for her haircut.
Happened to pass by a manicure and pedicure shop.
The price is still reasonable so we gals decided to give it a try.


I only did pedicure. Very nice yah.

The movie, Fred Claus is considered a nice movie with a simple storyline and a rationale 'there is no naughty children in this world'. It is about Fred Claus who is Santa Claus' brother, went over to north pole to help him with X'mas. His job is to decide whether a naughty child is nice after observation through a snow globe, only the nice children gets their x'mas gifts from Santa. Towards the end, Fred took over his brother to distribute X'mas gifts to children all over the world, no differentiation of whether there is naughty or nice children.

This movie is rated as a comedy but not much humor throughout the whole movie. Oh well, just a movie to pass time and relax. I would say worth watching during weekdays.

Today is a boring day at work. Nothing much. Another 9 working days to go till my long leave...
